John is a technology leader with a strong background in the fintech and cybersecurity sectors, specialising in business transformational change and large-scale business growth using technology.

He began his career in the financial technology sector in a systems role, gaining hands-on experience in core infrastructure, data systems, and operational resilience. This early exposure to high-pressure, regulated environments shaped his pragmatic approach to technology leadership and security-by-design thinking.

nWebbed Intelligence, a business founded to empower organisations with the same intelligence threat actors use to create breaches, enabling actionable threat intelligence for everyone. Purposeful to drive business growth and investment to support as many organisations as possible with low-cost, NZ-made tools to outpace the ever-growing market threats.

John’s goal is to make advanced technology and security capabilities more accessible and practical for organisations of all sizes. He is committed to purpose-driven innovation, designing and scaling platforms that solve real-world problems, support business growth, and remain grounded in usability and local relevance.
